I may have submitted Nate and Day everywhere for pre-order. I've set the date of release for 14th July. And I think I've done everything I need to do, I'm just waiting for people at places to approve it.

Yes I'm currently contemplating whether I go with the sarcastic humour release of "the book absolutely no-one has been waiting for" or something more serious. Undecided.

It is so nice to see the encouragement for everyone on this site. I am working on my second book. It is my first experience with "walking through" the publishing steps myself, editing etc., and at each step and turn I have found a mentor and support. Thanks to everyone.

I submitted my first book bub proposal a couple of days ago, and I got a message that I was accepted! Non-US only, but hopefully it'll still get me some sales at 0.99!

Also I started a beta reader facebook group and sent an email out to my mailing list looking for beta readers and it's flattering to see how excited people are to join.

Their newsletter is segmented by country so only people in non-US countries will get the email about my deal. I'm going to discount everywhere though so hopefully there will be some spillover to the US market.

I made a cake!!!! Ok, so if you don't know me I am sure this is a weird "something good," but to give you some insight, I am NOT a baker. Baking is meant to be done with love and you can usually taste the hate in my baking. It is not fun for me, but I wanted to make a cake for my 2 year-old's birthday. I am shocked. It is the right texture, it didn't fall apart, and it is not burnt. It even tastes good! I am just excited and wanted to share my major accomplishment for the day. :)

I am pretty well known in my family for my cooking and baking skills, and not for a good reason. Lol I have been working hard at it though, and while I still have a lot of misses, I am getting better. :)
