It appears to me that the YA trend is slowly moving from Dystopias to High Fantasy--but maybe that's just me.
I've read a lot of this genre myself and from the reviews I read and even my own personal experience, it sounds like not many authors are delivering quality high fantasy.
I was wondering what you guys wanted to see in this genre. Personally I want to see more political intrigue: enough with the rebels and the wars, I want to see the inner working of court life; the deceit, the treason, that kind of stuff. What about you? any reader-wish-lists? (or am I the only who writes those...?)
