Meaghan (ectophine) | 48 comments A bit late with starting this, but I just found the group so that's okay! I hope to read 200 books this year, and while I'm a tad behind at the moment, I'm catching up fast! :)

Welcome to the group, Meaghan! Head over to Introductions! and tell us a little about yourself! :)

Oooh I've heard GREAT things about Caraval! And also, quite a few of those are in my TBR. lol. I just picked up King's Cage but haven't started it yet!

Meaghan (ectophine) | 48 comments @Elyse I really enjoyed the plot of the Caraval, even though the characters weren't my favorite :) and I'm super excited to start King's Cage!!

Meaghan (ectophine) | 48 comments 14. Oedipus the King

Quite a short play/book, but still interesting nonetheless. Had to read it for my English Lit class, but I've always kind of liked these greek myths!

Man, I've hated that one since I read it in High School :( The teacher made us watch this video of the play where the Chorus moaned every line of it's part. "EEeeeeeeedipuuuuuuus!"

Up until then I'd actually liked that story :/ I still love the myths, though!

Man, ..."

I'm so glad I didn't have to watch a performance of it then! I enjoyed just the myth, and something like that may have ruined my experience as well!

Meaghan (ectophine) | 48 comments 15. Hamlet (another play/book for school). I actually ended up enjoying this one, mainly because of Hamlet and his ability to make people talk in circles.
