I look forward to it!

I look forward to it!"
Thanks for the encouragement! And actually today I've had a breakthrough in a way. My first book, Pause/Silence/Laughter: And Other Plays was originally intended as a solitary work, but now I'm beginning to notice that my next two works are strongly linked, I'm guess I did that subconsciously. My second and third books are in the editing process and are called The Dreaming Key: A Story Of Poetry, and Small Spaces: Flash Fiction both share common characters and themes. I'm thinking of one day collecting all three as a larger collection titled the Monochrome Song. I've uploaded the covers to the next two books on my
Author profile under "photos" what do you guys think?

Hope you enjoy the life sentence you get here!"
Thanks for the welcome, Nathan

Thanks! I'm glad you think so! I've actually begun designing the cover for that, as I already had a strong image of what I wanted it to look like.

Congrats on the latest release!
First Feedback: The yellow on the black is sharp!"

Some general info about myself:
My name is (obviously) Jordan Toney, I'm from a small town in North Carolina , I received my degree in English at UNC-Charlotte, where I was also the mascot for a time. It was around that time that I began to stretch my writing muscles and find my voice. I primarily write short stories and poetry, although my first book (here comes the shameless book plug) is a book of collected plays. The book is titled Pause/Silence/Laughter: And Other Plays, and it deals with a lot of personal issues and thoughts. I would describe the vibe of the plays as surreal, thought-provoking, and challenging. If you're interested in experimental playwriting, definitely check it out. I'll provide links and such down below.
Beyond all of that and looking towards the future, my second book will be out next week! It's called The Dreaming Key, and it's a story told through poetry. Think of it as a poetic novella.
By and by, I'd just love to meet some people on here, talk about our work and share this and that. Use my thread however you see fit!! Don't be afraid to chat me up.
