I was having some difficulty in trying to find what edition of this book I own.
The ISBN would suggest this one...

However the copyright page would suggest this one.

Although my copy does have 307 pages this is the wrong ISBN, plus my copy looks too shiny and new.

Wow, I've never seen that before!

It seems your copy is from a print-on-demand batch from 2010, using the content of the 1999 edition and the ISBN of the 2009 edition, as you say.

However, GoodReads policy is not to make alternate editions unless there has been a cover change. Is there anything different about your edition's cover? Even a Lightning Source logo would suffice.

Sadly the cover is exactly the same as the others.
If this is the future things could get complicated!
