Wei-Ting (skivemednugatti) I'm breaking my personal record by reading 30 books this year. I really hope I can manage to read more. So much to read, so little time!

I'm loving the book recommendations by Barbara Oakley (creater of the Learning How to Learn course on Coursera) in her Cheery Friday e-mails and on her website. My husband is also an avid reader and tries to make me read all the books he loves. So this year's to-read list is going to be a bit of a mix:

Equal Rites (Discworld, #3) by Terry Pratchett Wyrd Sisters (Discworld, #6) by Terry Pratchett Pyramids (Discworld, #7) by Terry Pratchett The Noise of Time by Julian Barnes Levels of Life by Julian Barnes The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes The Design of Everyday Things by Donald A. Norman The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood Outliers The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell The Righteous Mind Why Good People are Divided by Politics and Religion by Jonathan Haidt The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Powerful Lessons in Personal Change by Stephen R. Covey Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie Moonwalking with Einstein The Art and Science of Remembering Everything by Joshua Foer When in French Love in a Second Language by Lauren Collins
