[BOTM] - READER PICK - A Corner of White by Jaclyn Moriarty

I hope you guys like this book. She's one of my favorite authors.
All books are picked via the Random.org randomizer except for the MOD PICK, which the five Mods arm wrestle over after the first three categories have been picked. Right now we have two adult titles and one young adult title, so we are trying to come up with another YA title. You musta just got lucky this month. :-)

Well for anybody who -didn't- get Randomized this month, keep trying! And I'm kinda looking forward to reading another book I can read along with my daughter.

Or hey, folk can read it even if it isn't BOTM *nudge, hint* ;)
Just bit the bullet and ordered the paperback version of this from Amazon :-) It's very highly rated by Library Journal so hopefully my daughter will read it along with me?

The talk in the town of Bonfire (in the Kingdom of Cello) is that Elliot's dad may have killed his brother and run away with the Physics teacher. But Elliot refuses to believe it. And he is determined to find both his dad and the truth.
As Madeleine and Elliot move closer to unraveling their mysteries, they begin to exchange messages across worlds -- through an accidental gap that hasn't appeared in centuries. But even greater mysteries are unfolding on both sides of the gap: dangerous weather phenomena called "color storms;" a strange fascination with Isaac Newton; the myth of the "Butterfly Child," whose appearance could end the droughts of Cello; and some unexpected kisses..."
