First of all, I feel like books that are described as "luminous" make up a LOT of my "read" shelf. I'm not entirely sure what publishers mean when they describe books this way, but I sure as hell read a lot of them.
"shining" or "illustrious" maybe? I don't know, I feel like publishers get bored and pull out the thesaurus sometimes. I guess "stunning debut" doesn't have the same ring the 18th time you write it?
I guess they're all code for "The writing is pretty and it'll probably make you feel things."
Also, this book is free if you have Prime? Hell yes! When did that become a thing? I stopped using Kindle Unlimited when I got onto Overdrive, so I had no idea Amazon was doing this.

I don't know! I thought Prime and Unlimited were separate things. Or you could get like one a month through Prime but Unlimited was, as the name said, unlimited per month? I'm not sure.
I have some thoughts when everyone's read &/or I can get to a desktop computer to use the spoiler tag lol
I, uh, started it around midnight on the 8th and finished it (after sleep) later on the 8th. I zipped right through this one. I also have thoughts. How many are we waiting on to finish?
I'm not entirely sure who's actually reading or just said they wanted to.
Once I got into it, I did like it and it was a fast read.
