“Me? Alright....Well, I love Chocolate, I play the piano, I have a beautiful horse named Kokajo, and I have four older brothers. What about you?” She asked. Was that too much? Should she have said less? More? It didn’t matter anyways now...
"Cool! My sister, Elena, plays piano too. In fact, she's a piano teacher here." he stated proudly. "You should meet her sometime. She's my only sibling, and as you've probably gathered we're from Romania." He could already imagine Elena freaking out like she did every time she met someone else who played piano; it was everything to her. She could be pretty kooky when it came to piano.
“Maybe I should, I bet she could teach me....What’s it like in Romania? I’ve always wanted to go” she asked.
"Yeah? Well we're not all vampires for one." he smirked. "Where I'm from, Bucharest, isn't much different from most cities in that there are bad parts and good parts. My favorite thing about it is that there's no shortage of coffee shops." he wrinkled his nose, "And restaurants are generally less expensive there."
“That’s cool....I wish there were less expensive restaurants here” she said, laughing. “And are you sure your not a vampire?” She asked, smirking
"If you ever end up visiting, you now have a friend who can tell you all the best places to see." He hoped that wasn't too forward, to call them friends so soon. "If I was a vampire, I wouldn't tell you." He wore his most serious expression but there was a smile behind his eyes.
“Maybe one day I’ll get my chance” She smiled “And you are totally a vampire!”
"Mwahahaha!" Marcus burst into maniacal laughter, garnering a couple of angry shushes from others in the library. He snorted and lowered his voice to a whisper. "Sorry." For a moment, he forgot where he was.
“That was a beautiful impression” she said, laughing. She also got a few shushes and struggled to contain her laughter.
"Careful. If we keep this up, they might not let us come back." But he could barely keep from laughing himself. "That would be a shame."
“Yeah, I love the library...” Celaena said, staring at the endless shelves of books
emma wrote: ""It is hard to believe that I've only been in this library a couple of times, maybe like three or four?" August shrugged as he rubbed the spine of the books carefully. "I just never thought that I ..."
(( It's your turn.))
(( It's your turn.))
"Eh." Marcus shrugged his shoulders. "The library's alright I guess." He was only joking, of course. He wanted to see her reaction, since she was clearly a book lover.
“Oh come on! There are so many books, so many worlds to Discover! You’ve got to give me more than just Eh, Mr. Romanian Vampire!” She said a little too loudly.
He snorted and quickly tried shushingn her, all while holding back laughter. "Shhh, you're seriously gonna get us kicked out. Besides, nobody's supposed to know I'm a vampire. Geez, can't you keep a secret?"
“Oops, Sorry!” She laughed “I didn’t mean to spill your secret!” She smiled
((Sorry I didn’t get the notification!))
She smiled and shrugged “Im just not trustworthy I guess” she said.
She smiled and shrugged “Im just not trustworthy I guess” she said.
“Really? Thanks! I try not to give away secrets because I wouldn’t like anyone giving away mine.” She leaned in closer “I’m actually a blue alien from the planet shromborhg and I’m here to take all of the chocolate back to my leader. Don’t tell anyone!” Celaena said seriously. She held a straight face for about 10 seconds before breaking down into laughter.
Marcus chuckled as he shook his head. "You kill me. We should hang out again, only not to do homework next time." He paused. "And somewhere we can be louder."
“Sure! I’d love too.” She paused, then said quieter “I don’t exactly have many friends here.” She said, not sadly but more in question, as if she was studying the idea. Celaena shrugged.
"That's fine 'cause neither do I." Truthfully, he didn't really make much of an effort up until now.
“Oh, well I’m glad I’m not alone on that!” She said smiling. “You have my number, right? And I’ll definitely see you around campus” she added.
((What do you think about them going to the Spring Fling together? I have a cute idea for how he'll ask her))
((Oooh! Both Celaena and I would love that!))
She blushed a little, her face almost rose red. “This means a lot to me by the way, I’ve actually been really lonely and it’s nice to have a friend like you” she said, feeling cheesy.

((Yeah sure! Where do you think would be a good place? I’m still kinda new to this group.....))
((Awesome! Should you or I post first?))
Katherine walked in, looking cautiously around. Her body still ached a bit from her earlier accident and she just wanted to relax for a while. She was trying hard to ignore her hunger, but not eating for an entire day was pretty distracting. She sat down on one of the couches they had sprayed around and sighed tiredly.
Sienna found herself already on the library, strolling through the aisles. She was still avoiding seeing her friends, so she had a lot more time to read recently. She was looking on the Historical Fiction section. She took a while to choose a book to read, but finally picked up one. On her way to the desk, she noticed some students kept staring at her, not on a friendly way. She knew why they did that. She sighed and changed her direction, trying to avoid them. This continued until she stumbled upon some couches. They were mostly empty, except for another student. Sienna looked around to see if they had followed her, but she didn’t saw them, so she decided to take a seat and wait for them to leave. At least she could enjoy the book in there. In silence.
Looking up she noticed a girl sitting down near her. Her expression seemed slightly off, worried? Or something like that. She then saw the book she had in her hands and recognized it as one she had read a year ago. "Oh, that book is great!" she said before she could stop herself. Great, now the girl would think she was staring at her or something...
Sienna didn’t expected for another student to start a conversation. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to talk to anybody at all, but she wasn’t going to be rude to this girl.“Really? Thanks for telling me! I had some doubts while choosing it,” Sienna answered. She sounded friendly, but one could tell there was something odd about her.
Katherine tried to smile but the nerves seemed to make it obvious she was, well, nervous. "Emm, err... No problem. I hope you like thrillers though, that one seems just like a mystery book, but it gets kind of intense after a while," she said, trying not to sound nerdy or... weird. She thought she was way past that though. Speaking so suddenly and without a reason. Why was she like this! She looked down. "Sorry if I'm bothering," she said rapidly, staring at her legs, unsure of how the girl would react.
The sudden change on the girl’s behavior confused Sienna. She deduced that the girl was probably socially awkward. She felt empathy for her, so, offering a reassuring smile, she tried to talk with the girl.“No no, everything is fine!” she assured her. “I’m not bothered at all!”
It was true that Sienna wanted to escape from other people, but... just this interaction with somebody who was apparently oblivious to the situation she was living in felt like a little breath of much needed fresh air.
“My name is Sienna Cross. What’s your‘s?”
Katherine looked up and smiled slightly. “I’m sorry, I’m just a bit nervous sometimes.” She rubbed the back of her head. The girl seemed nice, and she was confused as to why she was acting so nervous. She generally wasn’t like that, and she was certain it most likely had to do with her incident at the cafeteria. “I also kinda had a little accident at the cafeteria, and I’m still a little shaky,” she said apologetically while extending her hand. “I’m Katherine Fuchs!”
Sienna shook Katherine’s hand firmly.“Nice to meet you. What happened at the cafeteria?” Sienna asked.
This girl had some sort of weird positive energy around her. Sienna liked her already and she didn’t knew why.
Katherine shrugged. “Someone left tray on the ground. I slipped and well...” she felt the back of her head, the place where her tray had hit her still aching a bit. “It didn’t go so well. I ended up taking dive on the floor,” she said with a nervous smile. “It’s all good though! Nothing serious.” The girl in front of her, Sienna, seemed like a nice person. First day she talked and she’d already met two people that seemed nice. Maybe she should’ve done that since the beginning instead of keeping to herself?
Lillian decided to check out the library set up. She walked in and was amazed at the books that lined the shelves
Sienna chuckled. She could imagine the scene and she found it hilarious, specially with this girl. “Well, I’m glad you are okay. It must have sucked, though... Did they allowed you to serve yourself again?” she inquired. Sienna was starting to feel more confident about making conversation with Katherine. She even close the book and turned herself completely to her.
Katherine shook her head. “Nope, someone helped me though and shared some of her food.” She looked much more comfortable now. “I really don’t mind though, I was planning on getting some food after reading a bit in here.”
“Oh,” Sienna started. “What are you gonna read?” she asked curiously. She seriously wanted to know more about Katherine. Knowing what kind of books was she into would give her a clue.
Katherine looked at it then slowly handed it to her to see it. “It’s the count of Monte Cristo. An older book, by Alexandre Dumas. I love his books, they are... a fairy tale of the real world, I guess,” she said, really getting into the explanation. He eyes healed as she spoke about it, almost as if she had waited for the chance to say it and she was finally saying it.
“It’s one of my favorites. I love historical fiction, it’s my favorite genre!” Sienna answered excitedly. “But of course that that comes from a history interest. What about you? What are you here at BLA for?” She asked.
She just felt so happy she could finally relate to somebody.
“That is great! It’s always been among my favorite. Fantasy is hard to too though, it’s always been and always will be my favorite genre,” she said proudly. “Writing. I’m at the advanced writing program, and si far it’s been great!” She said happily. “It’s been my dream to write since I was young so this is perfect for me.”
It felt nice to talk to another person. She had just realized that her self-isolation seemed to have taken a toll on her, and just speaking with someone proved to be... to feel good. She never thought herself of as a social person, but she just realized how good it felt to be able to converse with someone. She hadn’t had such a simple conversation in a long time that did not involve school projects.
