Transcendence question

Hey dear fallows,

I read recently the book Transcendence by Shay Savage.
I was flashed how the author made it "work". (I read other books by her, but they are much weaker).

If you could recommend books where for i.e. H & h are stranged or forced to live wih each other.. this would be awesome!

If possible, it should be visible and belivable why they like fall for each other.
