I have been editing and proofreading books for both writers and publishers alike for over five years, working with all genres including non-fiction. I work freelance for a number of publishers, and am always happy to welcome work from authors, especially those self-publishing. I am also a published author with another two books due for release later this year.
My current rates are £5 per 1000 words for in-depth editing, which includes characterisation, plot and sentence structure, and £4 per 1000 words for proofreading. I will always edit the first 1000 words for free as a sample of how I work.
