Help!! I need to remember what this book was!!

Hi guys - just wondering if anyone can help, I read a novel about 8-10 years ago on an australian lady who was set on fire by petrol by her partner (or ex partner) and her years surviving being a burn victim. I can't remember much more, but google is failing me and I really want to read it again as I found it very good read!! Anyone read anything like this that may know what it is? :) thanks in advance!

Hi Belinda. I'm from Australia. There is a case that comes to mind. Nicole Millar was set on fire with petrol by her partner David Hopkins. However this occured in 2010, so it seems a bit late for your book. I can't think of anything else at the moment, if I do I'll let you know. (or it could be the book suggested by Jane!)

There is also the case of Lauren Huxley, although she was only doused in petrol, but not set alight. (SIGH where do these terrible crimes come from!)
