to fit the criteria - Carnival Colours: Read a book with a cover that is predominately purple, green..."I left off after book 4, not that I wasn't enjoying the series, but I think that those were all that had been published at the time. I have since read the first book again. Maybe it's time to continue the series.
I read Fool by Christopher Moore during the Toppler which was his version of Shakespeare's King Lear.I gave the book five stars. Christopher Moore's writing is always full of humor and clever twists. This book was no exception. The Fool was No Fool!
Almeta wrote: "Christopher Moore's writing is always full of humor and clever twists. This book was no exception. The Fool was No Fool! ..."I have four of his books on my TBR list, three of them "1st-in-series" books. I think I have put them off, because I just cannot bring myself to start any more series, not that it is really working, since I added three new ones last month.
I read
Setting : New Orleans
Carnival Colours : Purple
Beads : Beads on cover
When Brandy goes to see the parade in Mardi Gras , she does not expect it to turn her life upside down. It was a fun read with lots of chasing and shooting and quirky characters

If you do read February, I'd be interested in what you think of it. We read it in our real life book club and it received mixed reviews.
