That Was Then, This Is Now That Was Then, This Is Now question

Do you think Bryon turning Mark in to the police is a good decision?

I know it was a hard decision for Bryon to make and I agree that it was a rightful decision. However, was it the only way to make things "right"? Weren't there any other possible ways? Mark was like his older brother who loved and cared Bryon. Selling drugs, no matter what, is bad. However, Mark did not sell drugs just to earn money for himself, but for the family. Couldn't that be a mitigating factor for the crime?

Drugs are a controlled substance and it isn't legal to sell them but it isn't worth destroying someone's life.

The fun was over. Bryon didn't want Mark around anymore. Turning Mark into the police was the perfect way to get rid of him.
