We have few books in our library that tackle the issue of kids with a parent in prison and how that impacts on their lives. In this case a young girl's desire for a best friend is coupled with that secret which may spoil the friendship. A reminder just how important good friends are. I loved it.

Thank you..(I am new to Goodreads...so I hope this is okay to comment here)...but your post meant so much to me. My life has changed so much since writing this book. I've gone from writing about issues to actually volunteering and helping kids in this situation.
