A Dragon!! Hands down.
If that was too complicated for my situation though, a werecat would be nice.
To be able to have someone to communicate with someone in ones mind would be incredible. If one could link with a being who understood every single fiber of his/her being..... Who knew your every thought and feeling.

Yeah. Mine would probably be sarcastic, realistic, and introverted. Like me! :)
Probably blue. Camo against the sky, and sparkling like diamonds! Or one with transparent scales like in the story that Angela told the Urgals.
