I'm searching for a book about a girl who inherits a collapsing mansion from her grandmother, then a famous actor dies leaving her a fortune claiming on his will that she's his granddaughter, but his children demand that she takes a DNA test, she refuses until they come to stay with her and help her restore the house.
I think the book is written on 2015 or 2016.

How did you find it--recommended for you by someone who knows you, it was on the Our Staff Recommends shelf, the cover, the blurb on the back, a review? What format did you read it in--dead tree, e, audio?

I think it's a mystery but not gothic,
adult fiction, and I think it was set on the south
no memories of the cover except that it was orange,
I found it on goodreads too bad it's not on my list anymore.
