One of the major conflicts in he story is the characters are worried that Voldemort might be back. In the book, Harry's scar begins to hurt, which only happens when the Dark Lord is near. Being the fact that his scar hadn't hurt in over 25 years, everyone begins to worry and panic. Another conflict going on is Albus wants to travel back in time using a time turner to save Sedrick who was a boy who was killed by Lord Voldemort during the Tri Wizard tournament while competing against his father.
