How was your weekend Silje?"

My weekend was fine. Watched the championship and readied myself for moving away for two weeks, I'm to work on a new clinic the next two weeks, my first day today=)

I know how that feels, the apartment I'm in now doesn't have internet at all....=(

My awesome picking skills *grin*

message 108: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 5004 comments Oh that sounds like an interesting job, Silje! Do you have to move far?

message 109: by Silje (new)

Silje (sikna) | 908 comments No, it's about an hour from where I normally work. This clinic has had a shortage on dentists for some time and needed a little help with patients. We get to live in the apartment so that we don't have to drive every day these two weeks (read: our boss saves money by letting us stay in an apartment they pay for anyway, instead of paying us 50 euro each day in driving expenses=P) but the apartment isn't as good as promised (no internet or coffemaker amongst other things) , and the work conditions are different than what we were told (but the people are nice) , so we have argued a lot and in the end, the agreement that should have lasted three months will end after one... Sorry for ranting, I've been quite frustrated over this ...

message 110: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 5004 comments Oh yeah that sounds like they absolutely know what they're doing! Seems like the one month deal is better in the end than the three months one, but still weird. Sucks about the internet and coffeemaker, but at least you don't lose 2 hours in driving back and forth every day!

You've been given the gift of time ;-)

message 111: by Silje (new)

Silje (sikna) | 908 comments More time to read when UNO finally starts =P

I am here but the internet cell site has been damaged near us so the signal is really sketchy, i can sometimes get a bar of signal but not very often.

I know we start tomorrow so i'll update my shelf when i finish a book if i can but i'm hoping that it will get fixed soon as it's doing my head in!!!

V, don't stress about the update, just add the books when your internet is up and running again. After all, we have a whole month to add books, doesn't have to be the exact moment we finish one=)
