ARCHIVE Team Challenge: UNO 2017

I have been looking and I just cant seem to find a book that I could read that would work for the first two parts of the mini :(
Tracking sheet updated. I've switched HP7 for Blind Faith which was in as a reverse to take care of the last 5 :) Now I think it's 8s we need.

Just doing a quick tally and we only need 27 books to complete the main challenge. Sounds like a lot but as we're only a little over halfway through the month and have completed more than 50 we're in great shape so good work everyone.Of the cards left we have five 8s, five 1s and four 9s so worth keeping an eye out for books with Os, Es and Ns although there are still plenty of other cards to fill and we can swap around books if needed.
Sorry I've been caught up in other stuff and haven't updated my progress in a while. I've read Rebel of the Sands for the Valentine Challenge, as well as - and this is going to be a long list - Iron Kissed by Patricia Briggs
Blood Bound by Patricia Briggs
Rock Kiss by Nalini Singh
Silver Borne by Patricia Briggs
Gunmetal Magic by Ilona Andrews
Bone Crossed by Patricia Briggs
Archangel's Kiss by Nalini Singh
Archangel's Consort by Nalini Singh
Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson
The Seer and the Sword by Victoria Hanley
Idol by Kristen Callihan
Managed by Kristen Callihan
The Winter King by C. L. Wilson
Archangel's Heart by Nalini Singh
All I can say is thank goodness my app tracks my reading because I always forget to. I will update the tracking list and my shelf as soon as I post this.
I'm pretty sure that at least some of these books have O's, N's and E's, though I'll have to skim back through them to remember which ones.
Thats a lot of books, awesome!! Great job!I stopped reading one of my books, I just couldnt take it anymore..way too annoying, I couldnt read a page without hating it!
Already have a replacement for the valentine challenge though! Updating spreadsheet
Just finished A Study in Scarlet, the first Sherlock Holmes story. Has anyone read it? It's very strange. It is enjoyable but seems to go off into a completely different story halfway through.

yeah the narrator overacted.
Info posted about MarchNow that you all have the hang of the game, we are ready to turn things up a notch in March!
For those that played last year you may remember that each month we increase the number of hands. So for March you have Fourteen hands.
We have also added in an extra element for March.
As UNO number cards are coloured Blue, Green, Red and Yellow, we have added eight new cards to each team that have a colour attached. So, for example, rather than receiving card "7", you may see it says " 7 Green". This means you need to find a book that not only matches the criteria for 7, but also has a colour cover of green (the cover should be more than 50% green - use this colour extrator tool to determine colours if you are unsure).
As these are very special cards they are worth 30 points. You will find 1 of these cards in hands 2,4,6,8,10,12 and and 2 more in your last hand. Think of it as an incentive to finish all those books! :)
Thanks danielle! The colored cars seem a bit difficult but fun!
Already started planning for March, changed one of the books I planned to read this month for march since I won't be able to finish it.. still have one exam but I have no idea when it is, they could call me up and say be here in two hours! So I'm always studying just in case haha
I'm currently reading Miss Peregrine for a mini! will probably be my last for the month!
Not sure if this will count for anything, but I just finished "Big Little Lies". Will the books we finish this month that don't work for the mini challenge roll over? I'll double check this one tomorrow to see if I can slot it in the Valentine's mini anywhere.

No, there's no rollovers
Yep. Sorry Halli only books finished in March can count towards the March cards. You can start them in Feb just can't finish them. Would it work for any of the mini challenge tasks? It might be possible to do some shuffling around.
Just noticed that Avid's Caraval is in part 1 and part 2 of valentines mini. Think best place is in part 1.

I'm still reading away at King's Cage which seems to be taking forever. Think I'll probably only manage one or two more books before the end of the month.
I'm having mixed emotions about
sometimes I love it sometimes I want to throw the book (which I'd never do, but still) but in case I can move
to it's spot.
Halli wrote: "Added one to the second part that I'm almost finished with. Should finish tonight or tomorrow."awesome! How's Yes Please going?
I'm reading that one too! Not as quickly because it's not an audio book, so I can only read it at night, but I promise I will finish before the end of the month!!If I'm completely honest, I'm kind of disappointed in that book. I thought it would be a lot funnier than it is.
