Awesome! Thanks for picking up that last book for me.Hopefully we will be finished moving ASAP & I get back to reading :)
I just went to add another book in the spreadsheet but in the last row there is a "author surname" and "read by danielle" in that row with no book attached..Is it from any of you? As far as I can see it doesnt fit in with the books I have put on there.. Im leaving that row empty for now and using the one below
I am reading
, should be finished by tomorrow..not enjoying it as much as the first one, seems a bit slower..but Im still liking it so far.Im also reading
on the side, as a casual read..only read one of the essays so far and enjoyed it.
I really liked After You Romina but I left quite a big gap between reading them which probably helped. Apparently there's going to be a third book. Haven't decided if that's a good or bad thing yet.I finished Blacklist and am trying to decide what to read next. Maybe some crime or a thriller, although I bought Replica and History is All You Left Me yesterday.
Decisions, decisions!!!!
Did a bit of jigging about with our March mini spreadsheet and changed Nymphs to Nymph and Bent to Bents for an extra 2 points.I'd previously thought of doing this but wasn't sure Bents was a word. However as a few other teams seem to have used it I'm assuming it's fine.
Awesome Alison! All points are welcome!Finished Affer You.. I enjoyed reading it mostly because of the way it's written, in really liking this author. I love Lou, I just want to read about her life forever but I didn't like the whole Lily storyline.. and how the whole book was basically about that. I guess reading it so soon after the first makes me compare them a lot and I did like the first book a lot more.
I had forgotten how much I enjoy Sophie Kinsella's books!! Started one today and am really loving it.I had read a few of the shopaholics series in 2012 and forgot all about her after that.. now I'm planning to reread them and read the ones I'm missing from that series as well as some others of her books..
I'm really going to miss this challenge when it's over, it really motivates me to find the time to read !
I haven't read a Sophie Kinsella in ages. I loved the first couple of shopaholic books but think my fave was Got Your Number. If you're looking for another team challenge Tower Teams is starting on 4th May in NBRC. Sign ups opened yesterday.

Finished
which wasn't great but was a quick read.I've updated the spreadsheet and our first hand is finished already. 1 down 14 to go :D
I've just spent the last 15 mins chasing a mouse around my flat. The joys of cat ownership :D I have now captured it in a glass and released it back into the wild (it was a speedy little beast) so I can go back to reading.
Oh Alison that is my worst nightmare! I can't stand the sight of mice.. my cat got a bird once and just the image of that bird on his mouth made me freak out. I just hate little animals inside my house I guess.

I just hate little animals inside my h..."I feel like I should be worried that it doesn't bother me as much as it used to. It's been a few months since I've had a live one but I usually get two or three presents a week.
Mice I don't mind so much (unless they run over me) but live birds are a nightmare. My absolute worst was a couple of years ago when he left a pigeon outside my bedroom door. Turned out it was only playing dead and I had to heard it through the flat and out the door.
Really? That many? My cat only brought me that one bird and never again.. he understood my reaction I guess haha plus he hates me with all his heart.I couldn't live with your cat, I do not react well to dead or semi-dead creatures.
ha ha!! I don't believe he hates you.Mine is definitely not happy that I keep putting his presents in the bin or letting them escape.
Trust me, he does. He attacked me at least 3 times a week for the first 6-7 years of his life(until I moved out of my parents house). Now when I go he barely looks at me.
Aww. If it makes you feel better I also get attacked on a regular basis. He thinks it's hilarious to hide behind the couch and jump out to attack me (with teeth and claws). He's worse than normal tonight as I took away his toy and shut him out in the rain.
It does make me feel a bit better! What's your cats name?In book news, I'm reading two books at once which is a bit new for me, hope to finish one by tomorrow! I've changed my reading time to "only in bed" so I actually do stuff during the day and it's taking me a bit longer to finish them!
I would love a dog (almost brought one back from holiday) but I work too much. My cats official name is Harley but I usually call him Fluff or Devil Cat.
That stinks I have my little white fluffy Bichepoo named Jedi or as I call him Jedi the Wonder Pup :)
I'm terrible with dog breeds so had to Google bichepoo and OMG now I want one. Sooo cute. I'm sure I could sneak it into the office.

LOL
He's the second pic in my picture collection on here
Sorry I've been MIA this week. We officially own and live in a new house, surrounded by a million boxes :) But hubby is working tonight and there's a big storm coming, so I have every intention of curling up with a good book!
