I messaged Simmi but haven't had any response so I've let the mods know we're down a member. Unfortunately as you're all so totally awesome and reading above and beyond we're not getting a replacement or any books to use from the mod shelf. Hopefully though Simmi will be back.

Definitely stressful!! We were supposed to close last Wednesday, and have 1.5 weeks to finish. Now just 2 days, and we didn't take any time off work :)

I've been house hunting for the past few weeks and I can't face the idea of actually having to move. I'm a total hoarder so packing sounds like hell to me.

That's great Danielle. I'm stuck on a work training course (which I have to fit my day job around) so haven't been getting much time to read.

I'll definitely get the two on the sheet done and see if I can do the same and squeeze in a little short one. I'm thinking maybe Never Never by CoHo but will need to check dates as I can't remember when I last read it.

I havent! And Im not sure I want to, is it as good as the book? I am always hesitant to see films that are based on books in case I am dissapointed. I saw the poster online and they look SO different from what I imagined!

I really liked the film Romina. When I first saw who they'd cast I wasn't sure, particularly about Lou but actually I ended up loving it. I probably wouldn't say it was as good as the book but it's been a few years since I read it so I don't remember it that well.

The Red Road is finished at last. I really didn't like it but book club is tomorrow so had to get through it.

I got The Alchemist from my parents place, main character in Santiago si we can use it for S.. I'll finish it tomorrow. Will update the spreadsheet when I get on my pc. I'm reading the Spanish version so I will add it as El Alquimista.
Also got some other short Paulo Coelho books to keep in hand for quick reads for April.
