In the backdrop of the main story was Clay and Nicki's private investigation regarding Evan Reardon. When did you start to suspect he was the killer?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments It was fascinating at how the fractured plot really worked. You knew somehow they were contacted, but didn't know how. It took me awhile to connect Evan, even though, for the first and probably the last time, I spotted the killer right off.

I didn't suspect him until they found Margo/Mary. I was buying his story because it appeared Clay had.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments If Nicki hadn't gone missing, I might have bought it too. That was a big red flag to me that Evan was not on the up and up. Also why did he really need to die just to get away from a crazy ex-girlfriend. Sounded real extreme to me.

Yeah, I think I got worried about Nicki before Clay did. That girlfriend story was far out there.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments I'm not sure when it occurred to me that Evan was the man they were all looking for. There was a definite giveaway with the credit card for the "new" identity. Boy, I sure didn't figure out who Evan really was, though.

Danielle Gypsy Soul (afdaniellet) I knew right away that Evan was who they were looking for - what I didn't figure out was that he was so close and interacting with other characters as someone different.
