I know this is a rather odd opener but are you, by chance, a football fan? I typically write suspense fiction. I've authored two novels and am working on a third. However, I also have a complete but as yet unpublished manuscript (if that's the right word) for a football-themed cookbook. I mix tailgate-type recipes with mostly humorous stories about NFL players, coaches, refs, etc. I'm excited about the idea but, like you, I've had a hard time finding suitable beta readers. Obviously, I am targeting a rather specific audience. Does my project sound interesting to you? If so, perhaps we can work something out.
