One Strike and You're Out 1. Do not use any curse words. (Light curse words have more leniency.) 2. Do not discuss inappropriate topics. 3. Do not spam threads in any way including posting the same thing multiple times in the same thread (excusing glitches) or repeating the same word more than thrice for emphasis. 4. Obey the moderators.
Conduct
5. Be polite. Fights will likely occur, but if the involved people keep their language from getting too out of hand they will likely remain in the group. 6. Ask me before posting a new topic. (Moderators can create place threads without asking.) 7. Ask before joining anyone's roleplay. If a thread has not been posted on for two weeks, it is eligible for your use.
Roleplay
8. Get each character approved before roleplaying them. 9. Do not roleplay anyone else's character unless you have adopted them. 10. Roleplay in the third person to avoid confusion. 11. When you are talking outside a roleplay on a place thread, talk in double parenthesis ((like this)). 12. Do not let romantic relationships between characters get more physical than light kissing.
Moderator Guidelines
1. Apply on the "Moderator Application" thread to possibly be made a moderator. If I do not mod you, I have reasons so please don't be annoyed. You may still eventually be named one if I need a replacement mod or I have gotten to know you better. 2. If a comment contains cursing or mature topics, delete it, warn the poster they violated a major rule, and message me. 3. If a comment has been posted twice or more times, delete the duplicates and let the poster know. 4. If a comment has a word repeated many times, ask the poster to edit it and let me know so I can make a note of it. 5. Let me know if you are going to be offline more than a week. If you are offline for three weeks time without notice, I may remove you as a moderator. Message me for possible reinstatement.
Consequences
Rules have different consequences depending on the section. If you violate a "One Strike and You're Out" rule you can and will be removed from the group without warning. If you violate a "Conduct" rule you are warned or asked to edit your comment the first time (which serves as your warning); second or third offenses may cause you to be removed from the group without further warning. If you violate a "Roleplay" rule there is some leniency, but multiple offenses or rudeness to the moderators reminding you may result in you being removed from the group without further warning.
