When Christo asks Van for a favor, Van has no idea what he's getting himself into. Against his will, Van is forced to endure Mayhem's cruelty. He has no love for vampires and even less for the three brothers—Mayhem, Chaos, and Fury. But nothing is ever as simple as it seems and the longer Van is held captive, the more he sees that Mayhem is not the darkness and death everyone has claimed him to be.
But one of Mayhem's brothers wants Van dead. Mayhem has to not only protect Van from his sibling, but unbeknownst to him, Fury has just kidnapped a mate who belongs to one of the deadly twins.

Vampire kidnaps man ( or has him taken ) holds him hostage in home,he thinks people are only for food.Vampire is rough kind of angry character.There is a sevent that is human that keeps the human guy in the house and see to his needs .The servent seems to be the only one the main vampire has any kindish feelings for (human that is)He has two brothers.One brother is determined to kill the human the other just hold a dislike for all humans as they are for food only. I keep thinking it is Lynn Hagen's MATTEO but it's not , It is really driving me crazy and I liked the book a lot ,If my computer hadn't crashed I'd still have it,any help greatly appreciated
