"Leader?" Laurelle asked, "We have no leader."
"Isn't your leader the mysterious Mr. Forkle?" Fintan asked smiling.Alya and Alvar came back in, curiosity blooming in their eyes.
"He isn't a leader," Laurelle spat.Auriel started to stir.
Sadie appeared in the shadows, unseen. Or, if you'll pardon the pun, Neverseen. ((Haha!))
((Lol))"We'll see about that." Fintan said, smiling evilly.
Laurelle raised an eyebrow, "What's that supposed to mean?"
"Fintan!" Auriel smiled some what kindly, "Finny my pal! I know what game you're playing. Trying to torment us mentally so we go insane. Well, it ain't working.""And as a member of the Black Swan," Laurelle continued, "I'm trained to keep my memories to myself. Unlike you."
In the background, Alya chuckled, shaking her head. Fintan was not shaken. He came closer to the forcefield and did a motion for Ruy to sedate them again. Ruy came up and opened a vial. He put the vial in the forcefield.
((Gahhhh sorry!!))Laurelle made the forcefield stronger and Ruy couldn't do anything to take down this one.
"Urgh!" Ruy shouted. He concentrated deeply, trying to take down the forcefield. Then Alya, seeing the dilemma, flashed the girls to blind them, so Ruy could take down the shield.
Despite the flashing, Laurelle remained concentrated. Nothing could beat her now.
Alya gritted her teeth and increased the flashing as Fintan took out another vial of something. He threw it at the shield.
Laurel le remained concentrated and increased the shields power. No light could come though. Nothing could come through. Nothing could stop her.
((Lol, thats a cheesy villain line. I like that line.))Ruy suddenly whispered to Fintan something and with a flourish he disappeared, leaving Ruy, Alvar and Alya behind. Alya grined, having heard what Ruy had said. So did Alvar. "Just wait until the others come.." Alvar taunted hile Ruy cackled.
Laurelle felt weak and released her shield.
Just then, Fintan appeared with a cloaked girl tagging along.((This character is not my own, it is one from the book, Lodestar. Her name is Umber and she is a shade.))
((Okee Dokee))Laurelle tried to put a confident look on her face.
Auriel simply thought this was boring and cheesy.
"Sooo are you ready to cooperate or will I have to let Umber bring it out of you?" Fintan asked. Alya flashed Umber a knowingly glance.
"Darkness has no affect on me," Laurelle said strongly."What, so light does?" Sadie asked flashing Alya a you know what to do glance.
Alya replied with a knowingly glance and flashed both girls severly.
Laurelle grabbed Auriel's hand and held a crystal pendant up to the light. They leaped away.((Can we end?))
Outside, Alya told Alvar about Auriel and Vera and even the little she knew about Laurelle. She felt extremely tired with all the energy she spent running and dangling from the sky.
