Were you of the opinion that there was a connection between the judge's death and Paul LeBeau's disappearance?

I was pretty sure that Paul interrupted the killer and was therefore dead himself. I kept waiting for his body to turn up.

I felt exactly the same, Veronica. Throughout the story, I just waited for his body to be found or, given that climate, to be discovered in the spring.

I wasnt sure. I did think he was dead and was waiting for his body to show up along with the other bodies.

I thought he either was killed or hiding.

I thought initially he was dead, but when Darla didn't appear overly concerned a few days later about her son, I then believed he must have been in hiding. I thought he was in hiding as he had seen something he shouldn't.
