Thanks to Linda R for picking the Readaholics for me - I almost forgot how much I loved the 1st one in the series

Meg, how do you like the series so far?
I thought the first book was quite good. The second one I didn't seem to enjoy as much as the first, though I went ahead and gave it four stars, too. Have third one waiting...and am hopeful...
Wow, you're definitely motivated, Meg! The challenge hasn't even started yet, and you're already done!
Lol, what a space case,,,somehow I translated the date wrong! For some reason I thought that once the series was chosen it was ready, set, go. I have the other four series still untouched; can something be chosen from those still? Promise I haven't touched them yet! They are:Paradise series

Lexi Graves

Dusty Deals

Darcy Sweet

If it was my choice from your books listed above I would go with the Paradise series...not that I know much about any of those yet but paradise sounds great right now :)
Whew, glad I'm not alone =) If no one has an objection then I'll take you up on your choice. I've been dying to dive into those two books. This time I'll wait until the start date, though!
Thanks to Linda R for picking the Readaholics series for me. A great series and I enjoyed the books immensely. Sorry that I started too early as well...I too thought the books being picked was the starting gun ;)I read these and highly recommend them:
The Readaholics and the Poirot Puzzle
The Readaholics and the Gothic Gala
Meg, since I picked your 2nd series for the February challenge maybe you would like to pick mine...if that is OK with everyone? And I promise that I won't start reading before February 1st either :)Here are the other choices I had listed:
Wendy Meadows – Maple Hills series (continuing)
#2
#3Monica Ferris – Needlecraft Mystery (continuing)
#5
#6Rosie Genova – Italian Kitchen Mystery (new to me)
#1
#2Jeanne Meeks – Backcountry Mystery (new to me)
#1
#2
As long as no one objects I'll be happy to pick one. The Italian Kitchen sounds quite interesting; I think I'll pick that one. Hope it's a good one (though I don't need to add any more to my tbr)!
Thank you Meg! I am looking forward to reading those - they have been on my TBR pile for a while.... but I will wait a few days until I start ;)
Finished my first Trouble in Paradise
and currently reading the secondUpdate: Finished the second Murder in Paradise
Good progress, Jennifer and Meg. I've taken my book out of the library, that's as far as I've gotten this month so far!
