I have never read any Deborah Crombie. Is it similar at all to the Louise Penny series? Someone had suggested that it was.

Hmmm...not really sure. I have been reading Deborah Crombie for years and years. I love the location - i think she really makes the geography like one of the characters in many of the books. So, in that way it can be likened to the Gamache books. I love the characters in Deborah Crombie and the growth of relationships. The more I write the more I think there are a lot of similarities.
