Bonus tag: Psychological Thriller

This is a really hard book to review because I don’t want to give anything away. I will say if you like psychological thrillers with twist after tis this is the book for you.

Bare outline: Ted is a married father of two young girls. He hasn’t told his wife that he has a brain tumor. While his family is away Ted is planning on committing suicide. Suddenly there is a knock on the door, a man who lays out a plan where Ted will kill two people; one a man who escaped justice, the other a man who wanted to commit suicide. After Ted commits these murders at some point someone will kill him - the theory being it will be easier on his family if he is murdered rather than he kills himself. And so Ted agrees.

Whatever you think is going to happen next you will be wrong. Nothing is as it seems, it’s a long journey to the truth and the rug will be pulled out from under you time after time. There are three storylines Ted’s story, his therapist’s story and Ted and his best friend’s college storyline. Somehow these three tales will come together in a shocking ending that you never see coming.
