I believe this is 'The Mage' the 8th book of the 'Sons Of Destiny' series by Jean Johnson.8 brothers were exiled to an island, due to a prophecy that they would destroy the world. Each book deals with one of them finding their mate.
I recognised your book from the mention of the procession of gods.

It is a book series with brothers who have just saved a realm from horrible leaders. The brothers have magic.
It starts with a high priestess conducting negotiations 1000 years beforehand- something goes wrong and she is saved from a huge explosion by her goddess (whom she can be a vessel for) sending her to Earth. The priestess wakes up there, feigns amnesia and is taken in by another woman who helps her. The other woman is the subject of the previous book, but I didn't read that one. Anyways, the other woman ends up being saved by one of the brothers from the other world, they fall in love and the brothers arrange to bring the woman to their world. The priestess asks the woman if she can go too, since they are friends and the priestess says she has no family there- the woman agrees. Another one of the brothers falls in love with the priestess and she falls in love with him too. Finally both the women are bought to the other world and that is when the priestess reveals who she is. It's not that big of a deal because it's been 1000 years since she was there and her goddess isn't around anymore. The priestess and the brother(sorcerer?) fall in love/lust.
I remember there was something to do with a procession of gods and having to recognize each one or something political would happen. And at some point the priestess was captured and the brother/sorcerer had to save her and he's got a lot of power.
That's all I remember.
