ABANDONED. Book search where Heroines are Kendra and Sasha

My parents read a book in 1971, sci-fi-fantasy type thing, with two female heroines, called Kendra and Sasha (could be spelt Sascha). Its why I was named Kendra, would love to find the book.

Could this be Oathbound by Mercedes Lackey? The cahracters are Kethry and Tarma.
The Swordswoman-
