The only series I could think of is the baby for the billionaire series by melody ann but there are quite a few differences

P (OP) was last active on the site in October 2019.
They are 3 books, loose trilogy. It is 3 male friends, each with his own romance novel. They are stand alone books, but each friend appears in the other books. Read at a public library in the late 80s to mid 90s. Maybe a Silhouette? Not definite about that.
Takes place in America.
Contemporary time
I only remember 2 of the 3 books (no particular order):
#1 friend is a businessman. he was in love with her. she runs away. he doesn't know why. she comes back years later. she has a secret - that she and her father were being blackmailed to work as jeweler/clockmakers? Not totally sure of the craft. She comes back. She's a virgin. He doesn't know this until they have their first encounter in a car.
#2 friend is a security expert. he is protecting a woman. she stays in his home.
#3 sorry, i don't remember.
