what we can do is yes, Ash and Tullayne become good friends in the gang and she gets him up in all the business.

And he meets Natalia somewhere that the gang stops maybe and he saves her life or something. Maybe she's gotten separated from Joseph or something and he begrudgingly brings her back to the biker gang.

And Tullayne could be telling him that Natalia shouldn't join them or something. Like she's not cut out for it or something. And we can have drama like that.

Either of them could work. But, I really love Dev Patel <3 I actually like the idea of him and Isaac. And, of course, yeah I think Joseph is taken for romance, though I'm not completely sure yet. Perhaps the two (either Isaac or Robin) could have been good friends over the years and if you've read his history, Joseph has all this trauma from the death of another friend, so maybe the guy was also a mutual friend of theirs?

Okay well since I'm not sure what Fiend has in mind, I'll probably go with Robin, but I'm totally game for Isaac and Jospeh to be friends. Maybe they roomed together in college, and then depending on what Fiend and I decide it might be that Isaac moved in with his girlfriend or something? And then Robin was also looking for a roommate so Joseph and her moved in together? So maybe Isaac still experienced that trauma as well and the two of them are still close because of it, that gives me another dimension to add to him as well since I was struggling to flesh out his backstory

Okay so I had that Joseph was best friends with the guy Leo and that he died in an accident that the two of them were in. So maybe Isaac wasn't there during the accident and so he had to deal with both one of his friends dying and the other being in the hospital. And maybe there was a lot of hurt and tension between them because they both were good friends with Leo and there's some blame going around. OH! What if Isaac was Leo's best friend and they were the same age and Joseph was the younger kid always hanging out with them but then they all became good friends in college. And when the accident happens, there is so much tension that's isaac decides to move to a new apartment with his girlfriend? And then Joseph moping becomes roommates with Robin too which could develop into a friendship that helps him with all of his ptsd

Yeah that's good, so Isaac might have placed some blame on Joseph but maybe also on himself for not being there and maybe that drove them apart a little bit. He left moved in with the girlfriend (I feel like the relationship with the girlfriend probably didn't last, and that might be where Fie can come in...Fie if your reading this, can Isaac sleep on your gals couch?) I feel like he'd be too ashamed to go back to Joseph. All the while Robin's helping Joseph through his ptsd. But maybe Isaac and Joseph can start working things out again post apocalypse? - I sort of envisioned Robin sticking it solo, and radioing everyone with constant updates, so that leaves room for Isaac to come back in (...at least until Jack Linden comes into play, because Isaac's too nice for his gang >.<)

Okay, Joseph is a med student too if you want that connection anywhere! I love the idea of Isaac and Joseph reconnecting after the apocalypse/in the beginning of it. Maybe like Joseph intends to finds his sister because they've been separated so that's why he joins Jack Linden's gang or something - to see if they can help him find her, but he obviously underestimated them. And so at the beginning of this, we can have Joseph and Robin hanging out somewhere, getting drinks after work or something maybe.
