Isolated Neverseen Hideout

Ronin blew the force field away and was about to chuck another rock at her but his imparter buzzed. "Time," he called, waving her over as he answered his imparter.

[Catherine]

Jasmine, wondering who was calling him and if she got a mission out of it, headed back inside, realizing how hungry she was. She searched through the pantry to find some trademark Neverseen food- plants that smell like feet. She choked some down before deciding to go eavesdrop on the conversation. She snuck over to the door and used a force field to make a cup which she put her ear to.

[Emily ~Autumn, Winter~, First-in-Command]

"Yeah?" Ronin answered, seeing Terra Blare, one of the half members.

"Get over to Wildfire," Terra said shortly. There was an explosion like sound and looked away. "Oh wait no Leo just showed up you're fine. Be on stand by though. This guy is a freak!" She clicked away.

Ronin frowned and rolled his eyes, putting his imparter away.

[Catherine]

Jasmine heard the conversation end and quickly took down the force field and made it look like she was still eating, pondering what was going on. A Black Swan attack? ((This may be the first time I've posted something that didn't have at least one underlined word for misspelling *cracks up*))

Ronin snorted and went inside. "We're on standby for the Blares," he informed Jasmine.

"What's going on? Are the Black Swan attacking? No they're too cowardly, aren't they?" Jasmine said, trying to sound like she knew nothing. Well, she sort of did.

"I have absolutely no idea. She was very vague." Ronin rolled his eyes again.

[Catherine]

((Sorry I took so long to reply my computer died)) "Ah," Jasmine replied simply.

Ronin was about to say something when the door banged open and Kana Blare entered the room. "Kana?" Ronin questioned with a frown, surprised to see one of the highest ranking Neverseen members here.

Kana pursed her lips. "Are you done with the lessons?"

[Catherine]

Jasmine recognized her immediately and awkwardly stood there, unsure of what she was supposed to do when a high ranking Neverseen walked in. Bowing couldn't be it...

"Well we were just taking a break... but if you need either of us we could cut it short." Ronin inclined his head in a submissive/respectful nod.

Jasmine caught on and followed his lead, nodding respectfully. She figured this was a situation where low ranked Neverseen should be quiet unless spoken to.

Kana cocked her head and looked at Jasmine. "How much have you learned?"

[Catherine]

Jasmine swallowed and replied, "Today we were working on quick reflexes and aiming my force fields. We've also worked on a lot of skills including outward channeling."

Kana nodded. "Good." She scanned Jasmine. "You've been doing fairly well I see. Or you'd be much more bloody."

[Catherine]

Jasmine gave a little nod, "Yea- yes I believe I have." She decided yes sounded more professional than yeah.

"Good," Kana repeated. Something on her wrist buzzed and she looked at a watch looking thing. She cursed under her breath. "Never mind. Uh. Continue." She growled and clicked something on her watch before spinning out of the room.

Jasmine stated the obvious, "Well that was weird."

"Yeah..." Ronin frowned. "How do you feel about cutting our lessons a little short?"

[Catherine]

"I suppose that would be alright," she said casually, cheering inside.

Ronin raised an eyebrow and nodded. "Alright... We'll be going longer next time though, just informing you now." He grinned lopsidedly.

[Catherine]

Jasmine internally sighed, "Good to know, where are you going?"

"I'm going to check in on the Blare girls. Kana isn't there and she seemed to be in a rush to get somewhere. I feel the need to make sure everything smooth," Ronin explained.

[Catherine]

"Well, it sounds like some extra backup may be helpful," Jasmine hinted, shielding both of them to prove her point.

[Emily ~Autumn, Winter~, First-in-Command]

Ronin smirked and pretended not to get her hint. "Good idea," he agreed. "I'll go find Amya and Wolf." He nodded.

[Catherine]

"It also sounds like a good training experience especially if someones training got cut short," Jasmine pressed harder.

[Emily ~Autumn, Winter~, First-in-Command]

"Yes, yes it would be," Ronin said. "Too bad we already extended your next lesson or I could've taken you with!"

[Catherine]

Jasmine shot back, "Well, there's always a chance you'll need more help, especially from a Psionopath like myself!"

[Emily ~Autumn, Winter~, First-in-Command]

"Well I'll have you on standby then if you're needed. I'm only going to Wildfire to make sure two little teenage girls are alive still."

[Catherine]

Jasmine let out a sigh, "Alright then." She then stepped outside and started shooting force fields at a target on the wall.

"Have fun, love!" Ronin saluted and leaped away.

((Ug sorry juggling several groups and didn't notice again))
Jasmine, after hitting the target a few times and scorching it noticeably, went inside and considered following Ronin. Where would he be? He went after Kara, who presumably went to Wildfire to check up on everyone. But she couldn't just show up there..

A few days passed, and Jasmine continued to go through her boring routine of chores, practice, meals, sleep, repeat. There was something in the back of her mind she couldn't quite place.. Was she worried about Ronin? She couldn't be...

Ronin appeared on the island and looked around for Jasmine. He didn't see her so he figured she was inside. He opened the door and stepped aside to dodge the automatic arrow, then went inside. "Jazzy dear? Are you home?" he called with his usual twisted smirk.

[Catherine]

Jasmine had been practicing her ax kick, trying to get her leg as high as possible before slamming it to the ground. She had just gotten it extremely high and was ready to slam it down, sure to break the bone of whoever would have been below her, when he called. Her concentration was shattered and she awkwardly twisted in the air before falling to the ground with a loud thump. She dusted off herself before heading to door. "Hello Ronny, dear," she replied in her special 'Ronin tone,' a special type of sarcasm.

Ronin heard a thump and chuckled. "Practicing your ax kicking again hm?" He grinned at her when she came into the room. "Ready for your extra long training session?"

[Catherine]

Jasmine was actually really excited, the past few days had been pretty boring, but she simply said, "I suppose so."

"Well too bad. We're going on a field mission." Ronin crossed his arms.

[Catherine]

Was she supposed to be disappointed by this? Jasmine managed to maintain a calm disposition, putting on her cloak and tucking her throwing stars into their spot. "What type of mission?" she inquired when she was ready, waiting for her briefing.

"Really just errands, but the humans might fight back so you're coming along to make sure they stay still." Ronin pulled up the hood of his cloak and raised his pathfinder. "Come on then."

[Catherine]

Jasmine nodded and stepped into the beam of light, barely registering it was blue before she was swept away.
