I second that. The movie is plan pathetic.

I hate jace in the movie. the guy dont know how yo act and he basically distroyed what was left of a rather good movie. it was directed good but the characters except Magnus ruined it.
I am not talking about the change in the movie I am talking about the fact that it was horribly produced.

Speaking of "Pari-Likhi Awaam", has anyone mentioned the fact that once upon a time, there was a 'scientist' running our prime research facility in the good old days of Zia who believed that since its proven from religious texts that Jinns are made/created from fire, controlling them and finding a way to harness their 'fire', one can find a cheap, perpetual and renewable source of energy and therefore solve the problem of energy crises in Pakistan once and for all.
He was officially funded for the project.
I wish he had succeeded.. Sigh.
And I like to believe in Jinns, paranormal and Aliens because if they do not exist, life would be so boring. We have explored everything and that's deplorable because there is a certain charm to things 'Unknown'.

S..."
His name was Sultan Bashiruddin Mehmood.
Honestly, I wanted to talk about that guy. He was a notorious Pakistani scientist who wanted to invent the "jinn generator" and he believed that jinns can be harnessed by purifying one's soul and doing lots of zikr and once harnessed, the jinns then can be used to overcome the energy crisis in the country.

Unfortunately he failed and now we are left with no spirituality and no access to paranormal sources of energy. Alas...

Obviously as a Muslim I believe or religion holds answers to a lot of mysteries but for the past 500 years or so, we've discovered nothing. The oil was right under our noses but we didn't see it until infidels pointed it out to us. If Zikr can really trap and summon jinns and "muwakil" , it should be a lot easier to find the answers to other things :-P

Yes.

Jinns are spectacular. As a kid I was in love with local version of 'Penny Dreadful' storybooks with Jinns, Wizards and Fairies. That was in addition to the Pukhtoon Jinn folklore and supposedly first-person encounters with Jinns stories we were feted with by the fireside on long and dark winter nights of seemingly perpetual rains.
So, it would be losing much not to believe in them for me. The Scientists dealing in death, by meddling with the Jinn affairs, are doing a disservice to my Jinn cause. I am crossed with them, obviously.
