Elizabeth White | 1761 comments Encouraged by Patti, I'll start off with a wee software problem:

I'm the proud and relatively new owner of a Canon EOS 1200D and am getting 'bad image' messages apparently caused by their EOS Utilities program (for uploading from camera to laptop).

Disconcerting, as you can imagine! Has anyone else experienced this? Canon's web site state the software is compatible with Windows 10.

Michael Cargill (michaelcargill) | 2992 comments Is the error appearing on the camera or on the PC? Is there a number that appears beside the 'bad image' message?

The first step I would recommend would be to make sure you have the latest version of the EOS program, which can be downloaded here - http://www.canon.co.uk/support/consum...

Does it happen for all images or just some?

Elizabeth White | 1761 comments It's on the PC. And appears as it boots up. The no. is Oxc.000022.

I'll follow the link and compare it to what I've got.

Thanks Michael.

Anita | 3313 comments Canon software is compatible with windows 10 so you should be able to use it ok, I have found canon to be very helpful should you have to ring them.
The nearest I've had is with the EOS remote ap on my iPad, it works great but every time I use it it tells me that there is a newer version and to download that, I did and my camera wouldn't connect so I just use the original version which works perfectly every time.
