Roblin groaned. "Great. Something else to make my life harder." He shrugged. "Vanish or something."

"Right. You can just trail behind me till we can leap I guess."
"Okee dokie." Madeline grinned.
Roblin fastened his cloak over his crumpled uniform from yesterday, having slept in it.
"Your uniform's neat." Madeline noted sarcastically.
Roblin stuck out his tongue at her in the mirror. "You want a way out of here or not?" He grabbed his satchel, stuffing in the notebook. He gave one last wistful look at the lab trap door.
Roblin peeked down the stairs. "Just stick behind me."
Roblin sighed and opened the door. "And stay quiet this time."
"I'll try to." Madeline shrugged.
Roblin sighed again. "You'd better." He walked down the stairs, taking them two at a time.
Madeline followed Roblin down the stairs, though being careful, she only walked one at a time.
Margren stopped him. "Wait." She handed him a small bag. "You seemed in a hurry, so..." She smirked and left. Roblin looked confused.
Madeline took a step back, worried it might be something bad.
Roblin opened it carefully, then glanced frantically at Margren's retreating back. He opened the door, mumbled something about "Schoolgottagobye," then ran to the gate.
Roblin fished out his crystal, glancing over his shoulder. "She's on to us." He muttered.
"Hurry." He brought his crystal, grabbing her hand and stepping into the light.
