NEWBIES: Thoughts Before Reading

This thread is primarily for newcomers to the series, so please, no spoilers. But regardless of whether this is your first time or fiftieth time diving into The Bone Season, we'd love to hear your thoughts! What are you hoping to find? What are you expecting? What squeals from friends that pushed you toward this book are you finally looking forward to understanding?

And pros, if you can do this without spoilers, what or who are you looking forward to revisiting?

I've been lucky enough to read The Song Rising as an ARC so, I'm most looking forward to going back and seeing if I can pick up on anything that might hint towards things that happened in the third book, and seeing how the characters have developed and changed.

Ahhh! This is my first time reading this book so I'm very very excited for this. I'm already on chapter three!!

I haven't read the first book in a while, so I'm looking forward to seeing the beginning dynamics between some of my favorite characters. And I'm also looking forward to seeing what I can pick up that hints to the events of the next two books.

Y'all, I am right there with you. It's so fun to pick up little hints and clues that you might've missed the first time around. Can't wait to see what you catch!
