First of all, the bone carver description isnt of dorian its acc of feysand's child (thsi happens in acowar, once feyre knows she's mated and she then meets the bone carver and realises )

Second of all, I have a THEORY
Okay, so in one of tog books (i dont remember which 1) it is said (this isnt word for word its from memory and i have a bad memory) that rowan would look over the mountains after wars or battles with a far away look in hi eyes (this is later confirmed in one of the tog books). So the THEROY is in acomaf or acowar it is said that az looks at of the windows and he like the window seat, so what if he also has a far away look in his eyes and maybe unconsciously thinking abt his mate the way rowan did
