Phantom Quartz
by Barbra Annino – Four Stars! This is the 6th book in a very good paranormal series, the Stacy Justice Mysteries – a series which really, truly should be read in order.
Stacy is a reluctant witch when the series begins. As the series progresses, Stacy eventually accepts her destiny and begins honing her magic skills.
In Phantom Quartz, long-held secrets are uncovered and revelations are revealed, leading to a huge twist and cliffhanger at the end of the book. I can't wait for Book Seven!

When a dead jewel thief is found behind her shop, Lacy keeps investigating, despite warnings from the hunky detective of obstruction charges – and stronger warnings from the murderer.
Changed from Level 2 to Level 4 today. I just searched my vast horde of e-books and my library's online catalog, and added a bunch of animal books to my what-an-animal-2017 to-read shelf!
