ABANDONED. Plot about students praying around flagpole

Seeking the title to this book. The plot is two sided. Basically, on one side, you have what are Satan's grunt workers, and they build towers in the realm of Hell, in order to distract the Body of Christ. And on the other side is the humanity, the people who are unaware, but learning to pray about, and, destroy these towers that Satan and his adversaries build up. Any ideas would be such a blessing!! God bless!

And BTW, the cover of the book has an alien that has a pincher like head, and the students gathered around the flagpole.

That sounds like Freak Peretti's style to me. He wrote two books in the Veritas Project about kids attending high school, and several in the Cooper Kids Adventures about younger kids. There's also the Forbidden Doors series by Bill Myers that deals with similar topics and centered around a couple of teenagers, but I can't recall off hand whether the angels vs demons battles perspectives that Peretti did were in those.

In the book, there are kids at summer camp that learn about Jesus. And when they pray, they thwart the Devil's minions from building towers that send signals to distract believers to sin.

Read the book in 2015. And pincher like that of an ants mouth .

Plot is about junior high or HS students learning about the pros and cons of actions. Learning to defeat temptation and the sort through prayer. It has two plot lines, the first being about the students. And then, the other plot which ties in, concerns Satan and his minions building towers to get people or anyone for that matter, to sin, by sending signals into their mind or something.

ANY of this sounding familiar to anyone?


If this helps, when the students prayed, the more overloaded the minion's laser's or whatever got, and eventually blew up.
