This book was about a fisherman who was a best man. Groom sent him to head off a girl who may have been an ex. He basically kidnaps her and takes her to Block island where he finds out she is not the ex.

At one point he gets lost at sea.

I know it's a long shot but I really loved the book. It was one of those short romance novels you could get every month. (Harlequin maybe?)
