These are all high on my lists and I think will really appeal to teachers (and probably kids as well), but I'm not sure a committee of librarians will see them as the most outstanding contribution to children's literature. I think they all could be honors but I think Inquisitor's Tale, Wolf Hollow, Pax, or When the Sea Turned Silver or more apt to win. I agree that there are lots of great choices.
