Goodreads Author Program

Greetings! How much time does it takes to get my account verified for Goodreads Author Program? I've already applied for the GAP. I am an aspiring writer and have no such work published, but I'm planning to do so.

Librarians have no control over approvals of Goodreads Author status. If you are having a problem with yours, you'll need to use the Contact Us link on the Help page.

However, only individuals with books already published (or at least scheduled to be published, complete with pub date and ISBN/ASIN) qualify for the Goodreads Author program.

I've read on the GAP page that they do let authors post their work on goodreads if they are in the process of publishing their work, though the applicant need to specify this separately (which I did).

If you make a request to add your book here, with as much info as you can provide, a librarian can add it for you. Then you can apply for Goodreads authorship.
