On Amazon, book IDs are needed. For pre-ISBN print books, unique ASINs are supplied so that second-hand booksellers can list their books. (They are only valid on Amazon, for that one copy, so they should never be listed on GR.)

I didn't know that, thank for clarifying! But still that doesn't change the fact, that the edition listed on GR is paperback with an actual isbn number so in my opinion it does not match with the edition from amazon, so i don't think the cover can be uploaded from there.
