On this website, you don't have to participate in a group RP. You can just do a one-on-one thing.

I do like the smell of gasoline like when it's being pumped.

Mind you, I started out at #500.

Nobody really knows. A lot of people say for sexist reasons, and since the 70's was supposed to be more gender-equal, male names were introduced to the mix. However, for some reason girl names are still the ones retired the most...

Mom wants to know why I'm so surprised and so thrilled an RPer took my idea, and I told her after several weeks of RPers either ignoring or shooting down my ideas and suggestions, despite asking for them, it felt so good to see an RPer who actually wanted to do my idea alongside theirs.

Meteorologists said thunderstorms were possible over the Midwest, and that was it. No severe thunderstorms, just thunderstorms. So nobody payed much attention to them. I remember for us, it was a really nice, super sunny day. It was 80 degrees.
At around 4 PM I received a call from Grandma Lorraine, asking me if I was okay because a tornado warning was issued for Spencer a few minutes ago(Spencer is a few miles away from us)
I went outside and saw a clear blue sky and no clouds in sight, and I literally scoffed and said we were perfectly alright. I then hung up on her and went back inside to continue reading in my room. About five-ten minutes later, this strong storm blew in out of literally nowhere, and it was NASTY. The winds were about seventy/eight miles, rain was being sprayed everywhere, and I heard tornado sirens. I looked out the window and in my panic thought I saw a tornado right across the street and locked myself in the linen closet and cried.
(I later learned a funnel cloud did indeed form, but it was only on the ground for a few seconds and went another direction than I thought)
Almost as soon as the storm arrived, it left, leaving behind a beautiful rainbow. Mom came home and asked me why I was hiding in the closet, because she didn't believe I actually saw anything.
My town was lucky, but others weren't. This outbreak of severe weather is infamous for spawning an EF3 tornado in Kokomo which destroyed a Starbucks along with other things. After all the storms ended, many people were upset at the meteorologists for being unable to predict a strong severe weather risk and said the damages and injuries would've been even less, or completely avoided, had people had more warning. Some even sued their local weather stations.
After that, meteorologists promised to try and be more precise when issuing thunderstorm and tornado predictions, especially for an entire day.

Look up Deracho ((think that's it)) 2012.

That's the only one we had. We call it "*The* Deracho", which made it sound unique , like that was a name given to the specific storm that affected us.
