I was describing a vine to my mom and she gave me a weird look afterwards and I said it's not as strange of a Vine as it sounds lol

I am in such a bad mood today. I don't want to deal with anyone today. I woke up too late. My middle brother got a new laptop and I lost all of my work on the other one, plus my earbuds won't work. The mouse on the laptop won't work. My brothers won't stop screaming at each other. Hell isn't real, for it can't possibly be worse than this.
That really sucks :\
I swear I am this close to just going to the library. I don't care if I'd only be there for a few hours, I need to just leave and cool down.

THERE IS LITTLE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. THIS AFTERNOON... FUNNEL CLOUDS HAVE BEEN REPORTED ACROSS EASTERN ILLINOIS AND WEST-CENTRAL INDIANA. COLD AIR FUNNELS NORMALLY PROTRUDE A FEW HUNDRED FEET DOWNWARD FROM THE PARENT CLOUDS... ROTATE OR SPIN LIKE A TOP... AND LAST ONLY A FEW MINUTES BEFORE DISSIPATING. THE PARENT STORM OR SHOWER IS NOT PARTICULARLY TALL OR INTENSE. IN RARE CASES WHEN THEIR CIRCULATIONS DO REACH THE GROUND... COLD AIR FUNNELS CAUSE ONLY MINOR DAMAGE. MORE REPORTS OF SMALL FUNNEL CLOUDS ARE POSSIBLE OVER CENTRAL INDIANA TODAY. WARNINGS WILL BE ISSUED IF ANY OF THEM TOUCH THE GROUND. Ugh.......
It's the leftovers of Hurricane Irma. This is the first time a hurricane has given us this warning though.

The two worst leftovers were the remains of Hurricane Katrina, which flooded everything in my town with strong rain showers for a week, and leftovers of Hurricane Hermine, which produced a severe thunderstorm with a bunch of lighting that knocked down several trees and flooding rain.

How bad is the rain and wind and stuff?
The rain right now? It was bad earlier but when I was out walking in it it was pretty much just a sprinkle of a few drops. It's extremely cloudy and dark right now though. There's no wind or thunder or anything. It's just a rain storm.
MmYesterday we had some rain and drizzles. Today was warm and there were dark clouds but nothing has happened.

I'm really nervous about walking home! But there's plenty of places in downtown I can duck into if there's a tornado. They wouldn't deny me shelter in such an emergency...
Does your area have officially designated tornado shelters?
Like public ones? No.
Are you talking about like places whose purpose is a tornado shelter, or like "in case of a tornado you can seek shelter here" ?
I'm talking about places that I can hide in if a tornado touches down. Stores and things like that.
