So uhhhh...my illness sprite character was originally going to be an OC I made in a show but I didn't think the show was very well-known, so I changed his history and his species.
I thought he was already approved? Or is this a second one?What show?
He was approved, when I was still making him I decided to change his history halfway through. Grossology.

It's about a brother/sister duo who are middle school students who secretly fight evil-doers that threaten the city with gross things, like vomit, lice, and pinkeye. The show played on Discovery Kids before they removed the channel and all of its shows back in 2010, and the show taught kids about how gross things worked, like why you threw up and stuff.

If you watched Discovery Kids religiously like I did you probably saw at least some commercials for it. All the episodes are on YouTube now. My OC was going to be a guy who was pretty ordinary, but also pretty shy and reserved who got sick constantly and thus he was made fun of since he was always running out of rooms to throw up and whatnot. Eventually he grew sick of it one day and planned to put emetics in his friends' food at a party that would make them all sick and feel his pain, but his plan backfired when some of his bullies held him down and fed him some of the poisoned food themselves. Due to all the emetics in his system, he became really sick, but could now control his vomit and use it as a weapon to make other people sick, so that's exactly what he started to do.
All the villains in the show have similar backstories-they were regular people who became corrupted by gross things.
I don't think I ever watched it, but maybe they had like science kits or something I saw?That's a really unique character!
Hmmmm, maybe. I don't think they ever made science kits, but I could be wrong. Exactly! But I wasn't sure how many people have seen Grossology, so I changed his history. Not to mention the backstory is a bit implausible. It would make sense in the show, but out of the show, not so much.

At least I didn't have to alter his powers lol. They had an episode about puking in the show. One of the villains who is really dirty takes a vacation and starts swimming in the city's drinking water supply, which is making everyone else in the city throw up, including the main girl, who's freaked out since she's the 'gagless Grossologist' and can't do her job with a weak stomach.
How long did this show run?
From 2007-2009 I want to say? I do know it got a second season we never got in America since it was originally a Canadian show.

Well I was annoyed that they never showed a lot of the gross stuff on-screen, like they always puked off-screen, which I felt defeated the entire purpose of a show like this. Like they didn't have to make the vomit look all realistic and whatnot, but if you're going to have the guts to make a show where someone throws up in literally every episode you better be able to show it.
I can understand that.I hate when like in anime the screen goes black and you can hear a noise like someone being injured then someone's on the gorund. I wonder what happened to them-?

No I get it :P I'm annoyed when they cut away from the violence in shows too. If it's a kids' show I understand it a bit more since restrictions and all that, but I've seen it done in shows intended for an ADULT audience. Why market it to adults if you're not going to show violence?
Well depending on the kids shwo yeah, but in something like Pokemon or Yugioh where the entire premise of the show is violence? I mean, have you SEEN the Yugioh anime? There's a frickin god of darkness and a Leviathan that devours souls!!
